AR Formula

#V3013

Our review of the scientific research which has been done on the ingredients in this product reveals the following results have been found with regard to these substances. This formula is based upon the belief that in many cases stiff and sore joints are not due to a disease, but rather due to a deficiency in one or more of the nutrients required for the joints to function properly. It is believed that nutritional deficiencies in a joint, such as a knuckle, wrist, elbow, knee, or hip could lead to breakdown in the biochemistry of the joint, which in turn could produce pain, swelling and stiffness.

Construction of the Joints:

The joints are constructed of what is known as an “articular  capsule.” It is made up of a band of “ligaments” surrounding the joint. Covering the ends of the bones in the capsule is a coating of “cartilage.” On the inside of the ligaments is a layer of cells known as the “synovial lining.” The synovial lining secretes a  lubricating fluid that fills the capsule and is called the “synovial fluid.” It has a consistency much like raw egg white.

Mucopolysaccharides -- The Vital Link:

The ligaments, cartilage and synovial layer are all made up of various cells and “collagen” protein fibers. How ever, there is a thick gel that holds it all together like glue. It makes up half of their structure and is called a “mucopolysaccharide.” Synovial fluid is totally Mucopolysaccharides.

In the joints, where there are no blood vessels, the mucopolysaccharide gel serves as the medium through which nutrients reach the cells. Also, recent capabilities (now being used by surgeons to speed wound repair), and aids in mediating the immune system response.

Mucopolysaccharide Supplements:

In New Zealand there is a shellfish called ”Green Lipped Mussel” which yields a mucopolysaccharide which has properties like those found in the joints of our bodies.

Glucosamine Sulphate:

Glucosamine is actually classified as an “amino sugar”. Rather than being burned as energy like other sugars are, Glucosamine is used to build healthy cartilage in the joints. Glucosamine is formed in your body by combining sugars and amino acids together.

You can actually stop the break down and even rebuild the cartilage.

Colostrum and PRP - 3b:

The discovery that colostrums has immune moderating substances would indicate that it may be of benefit to people with stiff, sore and swollen joints.

D-L- Phenylalanine (DLPA)

Arthritic and cancer patients taking D-L Phenylalanine (DLPA) had a remarkable elevation of their PEA level, a sharp decline in  pain, an increase in mobility and a higher sense of well-being.

The most exciting thing about DLPA is that it is more effective than any drug used, it lasts longer, it relieves pain, calms inflammation, and is a natural mood elevator. Not only that, but it is virtually without toxic side effects and no restricting or limiting tolerance to it has been found.

Feverfew - An Anti Inflammatory:

Feverfew substances possessed analgesic properties similar to those of the newest non-steroid anti inflammatory drugs, only without the side effects.   Modern freeze drying techniques of freshly picked leaves results in a high level of biological activity. Research at Nottingham University has shown that leaves must be picked before the plant blossoms or they rapidly loose their potency.

Anti-Inflammatory Copper Salicylate:

The articular capsule is virtually all connective tissue, and copper is vital for its proper metabolism.

These researchers have found this form of copper activates superoxide dismutase a major anti arthritic enzyme, as well as lysl oxidase an enzyme which    promotes repair of inflammation and mediates a proper balance between the inflammatory prostaglandins and the healing prostaglandins. This balance is crucial to avoid inflammation.

Vitamin B-6 and Magnesium:

Scientists have found that patients with abnormal collagen protein conditions, such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, have higher than normal amounts of xanthurenic acid in their urine.

When additional B-6 is given, the xanthurenic acid declines, which it also does when additional magnesium is given.

Pantothenic Acid:

Pantothenic acid is known as the “stress” vitamin. It is very important to adrenal glands, which produce anti-inflammatory hormones.

Vitamin C and the Bioflavonoids

In 1979 a Canadian research team found that high    levels of vitamin C totally eliminated arthritic cells, while preserving normal joint cells grown in a culture. Bioflavonoids were found to double the body’s utilization of vitamin C. Another study also showed that a combination of vitamin C and bioflavonoids has an   anti-inflammatory action.

Niacin and Niacinamide - B-3

Niacin is very effective in restoring normal health to the joints of hundreds of arthritis suffers, and promotes good joint health.

Zinc and Trace Minerals:

Recent evidence shows that zinc is essential in the formation of three amino acids: glycine, praline and lysine, which are primary ingredients in collagen the protein which makes up the articular capsule.

Para Aminobenzoic Acid-PABA:

Sulfur is a very important mineral in chondroitin sulfate the main protein in collagen. PABA has proven to restore the elasticity and suppleness in many conditions in which the collagen and elastin has become stiff. PABA very effective in returning mobility to once stiff joints.

Digestive Enzymes:

Those with unhealthy joints are frequently inadequate in their production of digestive acids. Thus, they often fail to assimilate their minerals properly, especially the trace minerals. Therefore, the inclusion in the formula of betaine and glutamic HCI with ammonium and calcium chloride helps to assure the assimilation of these minerals.

Conclusion:

Those using this formula should be extremely pleased with the results of this unique synergistic combination of nutrients. It is the broadest array of nutrients scientifically proven to be effective in building good, sound, healthy, flexible pain-free joints that has yet been developed! It represents the most advanced application of nutritional formulation for specific health needs.

Note:

Those with a low thyroid may not be able to see adequate improvement until the thyroid gland is supplemented. See THR.  Individuals past the age of 50 may need additional hydrochloric acid supplements with their meals see Prima Gest .
